The Senior Manager of Web Analytics will support our client’s global online organization with data supported analysis, insights and recommendations to optimize conversion funnel and consumer experiences for branded and corporate websites, mobile and tablet applications and other supported products like widgets and social media applications.

The Senior Manager will play a lead role in shaping product design through data and insights, site tagging strategy, reporting and evangelizing analytical best practices. S/he will interact and present insights and recommendations to C-level executives and business stakeholders. S/he must have advanced analytics, experience with digital media, team management experience and have worked with tools like SAS, SQL, web analytics tools like Adobe, Webtrends and/or Google Analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish a data-driven culture driven by proactive insights and frequent, ongoing communication.
  • Manage client’s corporate roll-out of new Adobe Analytics reporting platform including internal communication and change management, conversion of deliverables, validation and self-service access.
  • Oversee analysis efforts and team deliverables including effective presentations (verbal and written) with insights and recommendations for project teams, business leaders and senior executives.
  • Own responsibility for managing all team vendor relationships and evaluate and recommend new tool sets or vendor relationships as needed to expand team capabilities in line with the industry.
  • Establish analytical consistency and standards across team deliverables and reporting.
  • Perform competitive and industry analysis through quantitative and qualitative research tools.
  • Be a champion of data quality by evangelizing procedures and enforcing quality standards and own responsibility for the digital data governance standards and process.
  • Oversee automation of reporting and establish process efficiencies to minimize manual reporting.
  • Establish diagnostic procedures used by analysts to identify performance trends, drive insight generation, propose solutions, and implement actions and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Shape all team training efforts to ensure personnel maintains necessary skills and expertise.
  • Research and help to identify business opportunities to improve conversion funnel and consumer experience and report findings and conclusions to upper management.
  • Direct all team-wide staffing efforts including hiring, onboarding, and identification of current and future needs, for a team of three-plus (3+) outsourced agency resources.
  • Manage the objectives for the department and project and establish how those objectives are going to be accomplished.
  • Establish priorities and delegate work to team members accordingly, while ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Work with key stakeholders and departments such as, Global Online, Design and Development, Content, and Project Management Office to structure resources and activities of the department and/or project so objectives are accomplished.
  • Evaluate and streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
  • Manage the cross-functional links between Customer Analytics, Brand Analytics and Property Analytics.
  • Adhere to industry standards of digital performance measurements to ensure effectiveness, usage and awareness.
  • Implement and manage departmental processes and procedures to ensure strategies and directives of department are carried out and in accordance with department and company objectives.
  • Oversee the development and administration of Web Analytics measurement including the technologies to measure performance.
  • Enforce analytical standards and application of statistical methods for accurate and rigorous measurement and forecasting of team’s outputs.
  • Provide direction and directives to the departmental team members in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities and achieving management objectives.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MA/MS Master’s Degree in Business, Economics and/or Statistics preferred)
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in web and/or digital analytics roles
  • A minimum of four (4) years of Managerial experience
  • Proven expertise using Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
  • Hands-on and managerial experience with SQL, JavaScript, Python, SAS, Domo
  • Strong problem solving, communications and technical skills
