ROLE SUMMARY

Our client, a truly exceptional eCommerce / Web Development Agency headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, seeks an experienced Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing (Marketing Automation) to plan, execute, measure, and optimize digital marketing initiatives/campaigns on behalf of agency clients.

ROLE OBJECTIVES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Director of eCommerce Technology, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following (in order of priority):

  • Marketing Automation: Leveraging such solutions as Dotmailer, HubSpot, Bronto, Pardot/Salesforce, and/or Marketo (as appropriate for a given client), plan, execute, measure and optimize marketing automation / email initiatives and campaigns. Client initiatives will include:
    • Lead Generation
    • Customer Acquisition
    • Customer Retention / LTV Extension
  • SEO / CRO: As warranted, collaborate with other agency team members to analyze or audit client websites in context of search engine optimization (SEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) issues and opportunities.
    • Conduct keyword analysis, technical site audits, and analyze relevant scores or rankings as related to domains, pages, and keywords/phrases.
    • SEO will apply to universal engines such as Google as well as those specific to marketplaces such as eBay (Cassini), Amazon (A9), etc.
    • Identify and provide recommendations to eliminate conversion bottlenecks and barriers as well as improve CR through merchandising, personalization, and UX best practices.
  • Paid Advertising: As warranted, collaborate with other agency team members to analyze and provide recommendations as related to paid advertising campaigns (search, display, social, retargeting, etc.) across platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook, YouTube, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ hands-on experience in digital marketing specialist or marketing automation manager role and in support of eCommerce organization / objectives is required.
  • 1+ years’ experience providing digital marketing services and delivering measurable outcomes on behalf of clients at a high volume eCommerce / Web Development agency is required.
  • 2+ years’ experience planning, executing, measuring, and optimizing marketing automation / email marketing initiatives leveraging one or more of the following solutions: Dotmailer (preferred), HubSpot, Bronto, Pardot (Salesforce), Marketo, etc. is required.
    • Relevant certifications preferred.
  • 1+ years’ experience in SEO-related technical audits/analysis, keyword research, on-page optimization (meta tags, H1, H2, page load speeds, page size, keyword density, internal linking, information architecture / navigation schemas, site maps, W3C compliance), off-page link building, etc. is preferred.
    • Experience with one or more tools such as SEMrush, Moz, SpyFu, Raven Tools is preferred.
  • 1+ years’ experience planning, executing, measuring, and optimizing performance of paid advertising campaigns (search, display, social, retargeting, etc.) across such platforms as Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, etc. is preferred.
    • Google Ads (fundamentals, search, shopping, etc.) and Google Analytics certifications are preferred.
  • Must be able to manage multiple clients and related initiatives, programs, and/or campaigns concurrently while maintaining strong client relations and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Must be a team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for digital marketing / eCommerce.
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in marketing, communications, eCommerce, or related field required.
