ROLE SUMMARY

According to eMarketer, mobile commerce will account for 53.3% of all eCommerce sales in the US by 2021, with an even higher percentage attributed to those who shop via mobile device and convert elsewhere. Bottom line, the mobile shopping and commerce customer experience is critical to our client’s success.

Part strategist and part architect, the ideal candidate will be responsible for development and oversight of the mobile eCommerce and customer experience strategy for our client in the Tampa metro area. Determining the customer facing features across multiple platforms and business units that will lead the strategy and architecture component with the client’s development team in eCommerce.

This person will work closely with business, architecture, and engineering teams with direct responsibilities for the overall mobile technology roadmap, mobile application architecture and mobile customer experience as part of mobile commerce infrastructure and in support of overall mobile usage, customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):

  • Review of all mobile sites on a daily basis, monitoring KPIs, Foresee feedback and general health of mobile customer facing experience.
  • Assists business team in improving workflow processes related to mobile site content publication.
  • Manages the ongoing release schedule with mobile development partner for mobile websites/applications with objective to continually improve customer experience, usability and top-line revenue.
  • Creates and assists in business impact analysis, business case development, and product selection. Responsible for providing enterprise development guidance in a multi-supplier environment.
  • Develops business requirements and KPIs, drafts process flows, manages wire frames, creative design, writes product specification, and coordinates with partners and internal resources in development, QA, User Acceptance Testing and launch.
  • Develops plan to increase mobile / tablet traffic and coordinate with digital marketing on email’s mobile presentation as well as click through strategy.
  • Articulates business requirements into technical architecture. Recommends and sets strategic architecture direction and approves high level software development / architecture with a goal to improve mobile application performance. Recommends strategic architecture direction.
  • Participates in and contributes to 3rd party integrations and work closely with development on various dynamic initiatives.
  • Have enough understanding of mobile SEO and its interaction with desktop SEO URLs to select and execute mobile SEO plan.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing or related discipline.
  • Verifiable 5+ years digital business strategy design, deployment and measurement with focus on m-commerce and related CXD.
  • Verifiable 3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application development in iOS.
  • Mobile Technology Software experience in at least one of the following platforms: iOS (Apple), Blackberry (RIM), Android (Google).
  • Native development in Objective-C, Swift, Java, jQuery,React and iOS & Android SDK’s.
  • Experience with chatbots and augmented reality (AR) is highly desired.
  • Experience taking a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of application.
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience Architecting/Developing Secure applications, securing data on the Mobile Phone and with security concepts of SSL, Certificates and Secure Web services.
  • Develop systems and procedures that ensure the privacy and security of customer data, fulfilling our compliance with standards such as GDPR and PCI.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in direct / indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other team members.
