ROLE SUMMARY
With one of the most experienced management teams in Fintech and significant funding from top-tier investors to fuel their rapid growth, our client is looking for a seasoned Full-Stack Software Engineer to work on building new web interfaces from the ground up.
The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to a variety of projects including the development of customer-facing websites and mobile applications, customer-facing data-centric APIs, integration with third party services , data analysis, and visualization tools. Additionally, the candidate should have extensive front-end experience, preferably in React.js. Tech stack: Full Stack Development, Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript, RESTful API.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, test, and scale new and existing consumer product features
- Design and develop RESTful API services
- Design and develop websites, databases, and tools using modern web frameworks
- Implement, deploy, and scale data storage, analysis and visualization software
- Setup and administer secure networks
- Work very closely with the Product Managers to launch solutions for the users
- Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance on all new code
- Collaborate effectively with other technology teams and architects to solve complex problems spanning their respective area
KEY QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Required
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer
- Hands on experience in React.js and expert in Ruby on Rails
- Strong in Node.JS and Full Stack Development
- Significant demonstrable experience using Python and web frameworks
- Demonstrable experience with JavaScript and reactive web frameworks
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently and deliver on aggressive schedules and goals
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Field
Desired
- Expertise in AWS development
- Experience with Linux systems and administration
- Skilled in C/C++ and other programming languages
- Experience with realtime software and embedded devices
- Knowledge of radars
- Startup experience is a plus
