ROLE SUMMARY

The Director, SVOD Content Management will be responsible for maintaining the bridge between our content and product/publishing teams to enable a seamless viewing experience. Examples include Metadata and video assets to deliver the experience being designed. There is a constant need to align on the changing needs to meet the user requirements in terms of content and the trends in the market. To be a visionary for SVOD experience and enable the team to deliver a product that stands out in the competitive marketplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to ensure that the content will be available to deliver the product experience as expected.
  • SME in full end-to-end content supply chain flow.
  • SME is publishing workflows; the team provides input for changes to CMS in support of new content display requirements.
  • Participate in the strategy and ongoing support of brand hubs.
  • Responsible to create a content strategy documents to deliver the product experience.
  • Work with Data Insights team to structure engagement user dashboards and reporting cadence to communicate engagement readouts to Editorial, Publishing and Engagement teams.
  • Track and read out on content engagement initiative progress and success metrics.
  • Engage and manage as necessary in any key research and benchmarking to support strategic initiatives.
  • Act as the main contact to legal, marketing and content to understand and ensure any unique rules for brands are followed within the product. This includes metadata and display rules.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and enable a collaborative environment.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of experience leading small, strategic, high impact teams with high executive interaction; experience driving customer engagement.
  • Extensive experience working in large matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape including SVOD and OTT services.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product and brand vision.
  • Self-motivated and accountable with executive-level presence.
  • Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities; candidate must be able to create their own direction yet balance cross-functional teams’ needs, reacting quickly, dynamically, and intelligently.
  • Passionate about the intersection of entertainment, technology, and content.
  • Executes against a vision via small, medium, and long-term projects.
  • Capable of being an excellent communicator and longer-term strategic thinker.
