POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, eCommerce & Analytics will develop strategies to drive key metric growth through testing, merchandising, analytics, and optimization, while delivering an optimal customer experience.  They will develop and communicate the strategic direction for the online customer experience across devices, leveraging use of real time data. To achieve these goals, this individual will collaborate with a cross-functional team to facilitate a best in class, data driven, online shopping experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and optimize online functionality strategies that focus on conversion, maximizing engagement and providing a frictionless shopping experience, regardless of device.
  • Across all devices and platforms, monitor KPIs and visitor behavior at the marketing program level to optimize short-term performance and influence longer term strategies.
  • Perform in-depth analysis to identify opportunities, problems and trends and develop resolutions that will enhance experience.  Investigate and partner with technology resources to fix failed site functionality.
  • Develop sophisticated reporting and analytics capabilities through use of PowerBI and GA to interpret business, customer and key partner needs.
  • Maximize ROI through constant testing, site optimization, UI/UX and improving online customer experience.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of A/B testing strategies, report results and make recommendations for site enhancements to improve the online customer experience.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews to discuss site performance and opportunities.
  • Partner with cross functional teams across the enterprise on future site enhancements to meet business goals.
  • Keep up with market and consumer trends, customer service issues and eCommerce technologies.
  • Oversee day to day operational execution of website.
  • Develop annual plan considering ongoing device shifts, traffic sources and trends along with relevant KPIs.
  • Evaluate competitive benchmarks and continue to drive improvements to our website strategy
  • Responsible for vendor management including Bazaarvoice, Unbxd, Certona, Content Square and Monetate.
  • In partnership with Brand team, develop online surveys focused on improvements to navigation and site experience across various audience types to help drive strategic roadmap.
  • Work with Digital Merchandising Manager to build an optimal shopping experience, collaborating with Marketing, Merchandising and Creative.
  • Lead on site search strategies to maximize sessions and sales, new visitor conversion and customer retention across platforms.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring your team, building a strong department of collaborative and customer focused brand enthusiasts.
  • Spearhead and drive process improvement initiatives throughout the company.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in sales, merchandising, marketing, communications, e-commerce, or related field; or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years in Ecommerce Marketing
  • 2+ years Management Experience
  • Strong understanding of the ecommerce retail space as a power user and avid consumer
  • Experience within ecommerce tools including Google Analytics, Monetate and ContentSquare
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Superior skills in content management systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
