KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will be responsible for setting the technology and product vision, strategy and roadmap to deliver on the larger company mission and strengthen its competitive advantage.
  • You will be responsible for building and leading a high performing team with diverse skill sets and perspectives; and engaging and inspiring both internal and external parties.
  • You will have an incredible passion for the consumer, product, and technology experience, be customer-first and understand the nuances of serving 3 different customer groups via our technology products – consumers, retailers, and suppliers / distributors.
  • You will partner closely with many including our Chief Security Officer, Chief Customer Officer, SVP of Ad Monetization & Strategic Partnerships, and Head of Retailer Strategy and Operations to define breakthrough technology solutions.
  • You will set the long-term tech and product vision and strategy to deliver on the company’s mission and goals across all customer groups, ie. consumer, retailer, and supplier/distributors.
  • You will define organization evolution and lead successful scaling of our technology and product team to deliver on our vision and goals.
  • You will build a longer-term tech and product roadmap including next gen architecture to support rapid growth and new business capabilities and products.
  • You will deliver positive customer impact through innovative technology solutions.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • You’re a recognized thought leader in the industry and energized by playing a larger leadership role within our company. You’ve been an actual CTO, CIO or CX something before. We’re looking for someone who’s truly been there done that.
  • You can demonstrate 2-3+ large scale software applications you’ve taken from the beginning of the project to finished product and how you worked with many skillsets and large sub sections of employees to accomplish it. Basically you need to be comfortable running large software products and projects.
  • You will need to be able to train and mentor teams around new and emerging technologies while also helping devise scalable, high performance solutions.
  • You will have experience with eCommerce, marketplaces and/or platforms. Experience in B2B2C and Direct-to-Consumer commerce would be highly valuable
