INTRODUCTION
Our client, a growing healthcare tech innovator that has recently completed a successful Series B funding round and achieved a valuation of $35 million, is in market for a Senior Software Engineer with experience using Unity 3D to develop interactive simulations and visualizations (AR/VR) as will be applied in context of healthcare applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- As an experienced application and solution architect, work across technology platforms and environments including cloud, web and mobile web and native mobile applications using current state of the art technologies (including Unity3D, React Web and React Native, PHP, Java Script and more).
- Write high quality, well-structured and performance optimized code.
- Support and scale our mobile platform based on Unity3D engine.
- Work on and integrate with our backend APIs.
- Build new applications, extend features and go beyond our existing systems.
- Collaborate with team members to complete the technical design and build of our products.
- Define and oversee the engineering processes, such as code management, code reviews, development estimation and unit testing.
- Provide oversight, quality assurance, and approval of all final programs and products before formal launch.
- Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years experience with Unity, including extensive experience working with Unity’s UI system.
- 3+ years of experience working with commercially available consumer facing solution in production.
- Ability to work with mobile device hardware, such as accelerometers, cameras, mics, etc and also knowledge of permissions, push notifications, etc.
- Quick and efficient prototyping of new ideas.
- Experience with Unity, React Web and React Native, PHP, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Python, MongoDB, Celery, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Redis is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple, concurrent projects using agile development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills with solid ability to present and synthesize data and make recommendations to stakeholders.
