POSITION SUMMARY

Level up the online shopping experience as our client’s Multichannel eCommerce Manager! As a member of the Marketing Team, you will be directly accountable for conversions and online revenue. You will own the storefront of the DTC website as well as the merchandising of our products on third party sites. You will use a data-driven approach to ensure that customers can easily find what they’re looking for by optimizing their path to purchase. Our client is also in the midst of enhancing its marketing tech stack which means you’ll be part of an exciting time as they replatform our website and add a new suite of tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Team with Marketing, Product Management and Supply Chain to spotlight our products online, continuously tuning merchandising to increase conversion rate
  • Keep a pulse on product availability, new releases, and lagging products to create strategies to drive online revenue as those variables change
  • Architect and maintain a product upsell, cross-sell and related products strategy
  • Analyze site metrics to uncover opportunities for site enhancements
  • Optimize product category and detail pages for conversions
  • Create custom category pages for target audience segments
  • Tune on-site search performance
  • Collaborate with the product campaign team to spark new ideas for marketing tactics that will elevate ecommerce performance
  • Strategize how our website and third party directories can work together to support our customers on their path to conversion
  • Run experiments to test all of your ideas and implement the winners
  • BTW, this multi-talented inbound marketing and eCommerce team consists of digital marketers, writers, designers and communications experts who endeavor to show the world why their products rock. You’ll find them developing marketing campaigns, curating our social media channels, penning website content and laughing daily at each other’s terrible jokes. They’re a collaborative crew that works hard to position the brand, generate demand and deliver a delightful customer experience.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have dozens of merchandising strategies that have increased conversions
  • You have shining examples of driving traffic and reducing bounce rate, and some great flops as well
  • You have strong lessons learned on how to mitigate backorder challenges, reduce abandoned carts and raise average order value
  • You know your way around Google Analytics or similar tools
  • Bonus points if you have used Google Tagmanager, understand HTML and CSS, or have run an Amazon store
  • You’re a data-driven critical thinker and problem solver
  • You’re a proactive driver
  • You’re a master at identifying improvement opportunities, testing ideas and implementing solutions
  • You’re a self-starter who is excited to setup and optimize a new system and processes
  • You’re fast learner who can quickly understand technical products to effectively merchandise them
