POSITION SUMMARY

Our client, a leader in the global entertainment and digital media industry, seeks a Digital Media Insights and Analytics Manager. Reporting to the VP, Business Intelligence for LATAM and US Hispanic markets, s/he will be responsible for transforming data and trends into audience insights, product and content monetization recommendations, and actionable plans.

The ideal candidate will have acquired his or her insights and analytics expertise in context of the Marketing, Media, or Sales functions (digital media company or marketing agency) with focus on developing consumer and content insights as well as contributing to the delivery of market share, revenue and profitability growth outcomes.

KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead cross-platform analyses to improve the quality, distribution, and monetization of our client’s digital media in context of US Hispanic and LATAM markets.
  • Along with Research Director, co-own audience analysis and segmentation as well as predictive analysis (modeling) responsibilities / capabilities.
  • Become an expert with media trading platforms and analytics tools across multiple digital channels, including display, mobile, search, social and online video, among others.
  • Measure success against established benchmarks / KPIs and provide insights to identify new opportunities for audience engagement as well as targeted content production, consumption, and monetization.
  • Help improve tracking and reporting tools/infrastructure to ensure consistent and accurate data.
  • As needed, and on demand, develop performance tracking capabilities, experiments, visualizations, reports and/or dashboards.
  • Mines data, particularly on the Hispanic and Spanish-language media landscape, to identify market trends, program preferences/opportunities, audience flow and other insights.
  • Oversees on-going requests, establishes deadlines and manages internal expectations.
  • Handles multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently juggles workload in the face of shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Manages one (1) digital media analyst.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years experience as a digital media or marketing analyst at a digital media company, marketing agency, or media research supplier.
  • Four year undergraduate degree (BA, BS) in a STEM field from an accredited university is required. An advanced degree (MS, MBA) in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or Predictive Analytics is strongly desired.
  • Verbal and written fluency or professional proficiency in both English and Spanish required. Proficiency in Portuguese is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of US Hispanic and LATAM cultures in context of media preferences, content consumption behaviors, and responsiveness to advertising messaging strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the following analytics, visualization, reporting, and database management tools strongly preferred: Advanced Excel, Adobe Marketing Cloud (Analytics, Target, etc.), Google Analytics, Google Experiments, YouTube Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Tableau, Domo, SAS, SQL.
  • Experience (analysis, reporting, optimization) with the following types of digital media platforms is strongly preferred: display (banner ads), mobile (smartphone, tablet), search (Google, Yahoo!/Bing), social (Facebook, Twitter) and online video (Hulu, YouTube), among others.
  • Solid understanding of digital media planning and execution using various advertising technologies including, but not limited to, Ad Serving, Media Planning, Media Buying, Yield Management, and other relevant digital media tools.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment.
  • Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization.
  • Creative, highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be willing to work in greater Miami, FL area (not a remote work opportunity).
