POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is in market for a leader to drive strategic business efforts in context of their Digital Content Distribution team. This role will work closely with the strategy team on the day-to-day maintenance of growing business accounts, which will change with the demands of the industry, and lead efforts in competitive windowing & price tracking to maximize new releases or on-platform business opportunities. This role is responsible for driving catalog revenue through promotions including process strategy, planning, and sales submissions and will conduct analysis that will further revenue growth of the transactional business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Merchandising:
- Advise digital distribution strategic team on promotional pricing strategy responsible for execution
- Strategize discount tactics that will grow the promotions business
- Create sales submissions & pitch to partners
- Analyze promotion results & make strategic recommendations to team leadership
- Identify new promotional opportunities to increase A24 on-platform visibility
- Handle partner outreach for pricing discrepancies
- Expand promotional strategy to international markets as necessitated by direct distribution needs
- Independently maintain competitive merchandising tracking efforts
- Oversee competitive date monitoring to advise Account Director on lucrative market windowing opportunities
- Closely monitor calendar for release date advantages & competitive hurdles
- Identify thematic & talent drafting opportunities to leverage releasing slate
- Predominantly focused on domestic business with efforts in direct international expansion territories as needed
Account Management:
- CRM & partner communications
- Work closely with Account Directors to provide best-in-class day-to-day client services across all transactional VOD accounts, communicating directly with partners, bolstering interest in the content slate and providing exemplary customer service
- Act as point of contact for ancillary accounts, responsible for tracking dates, status and performance with opportunity to grow to be lead across additional accounts
- Facilitate partner asset needs to leverage for bespoke collaborations developed by the strategic team to drive revenue on both new release and catalog
- Ensure fulfillment of partner asset requests, track progress & deadlines
- Act as internal liaison to ensure timely delivery of partner material requests
- Leverage material delivery for merchandising placement
- Maintain exemplary partner distribution materials for all direct distribution markets to generate enthusiasm for upcoming content including
- New release pitch decks
- Upcoming content trailer preview emails
- Accolades & key updates blasts
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of account management experience with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, home entertainment experience preferred
- Comfortable, personable and confident client management skills
- Keen ability to translate brand voice into content presentation
- Strong written and verbal communication and emotional intelligence
- Proficient in Excel and Google Suite
- Experience with Tableau or similar data system encouraged
- Adept at developing organizational systems & facilitating internal processes
- Acute attention to detail
