The Associate Vice President, Digital Client Services is a visionary leader who is passionate about leading and mentoring an account team to grow agency services across local, national and global accounts. This role demands significant experience in agency management and digital marketing in a significant national role.
The AVP, Digital Client Services has proven experience in successfully running large portfolios of accounts and structuring account teams to drive both client and agency success. S/he has proven experience as a manager and a relationship architect, fostering and guiding the success of the team in all aspects of the business. In addition to protecting, growing and nurturing the agency’s relationship with its current client base, this role also participates robustly in new business efforts, financial forecasting and reporting, and general agency leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages, mentors, and supervises account teams in Denver and Salt Lake City. Provides structure and staffing plans based on revenue, reports on monthly results to national Head of Accounts.
- Responsible for all aspects of the account team success, including staffing, reviews, and revenue/forecast reporting to management.
- Develop, maintain and grow key client relationships at the C-level.
- Leads organic growth and opportunity assessment for growth and improvement within key accounts.
- Provide high level internal oversight for execution of digital planning and campaign development, and provide a point of escalation and resolution for the client and the project team
- Measure and ensure client satisfaction.
- Play a leadership role in 18+ pitches throughout the year.
- Monitor team success, casting and chemistry
- Ensures mentoring and the training of team members aspiring them to exceptional client service.
- Instill a passion for creativity and ground-breaking ideas within the team
- Build positive culture within agency and teams
- Enhance and expand role and reputation of agency
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years experience in a digital or omnichannel agency, and/or marketing/advertising environment.
- Proven track record building and managing 8-figure portfolio of accounts.
- Strong and proven leadership and management skills.
- Experience running account groups servicing Fortune 500 clients with an insatiable curiosity about their business.
- Multi-category experience including: consumer, B2B, healthcare, entertainment, telecom and/or finance.
- Strong digital media/digital marketing background and understanding of business and brand planning.
- Passionate about brands, digital communications and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrate a strong business mind-set and ambition to drive growth for both agency and client.
- Highly articulate with excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Conviction and courage to drive decisions and defend positions as appropriate
- Dynamic and energizing with an ability to maintain optimism and a positive attitude in a challenging, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
