The SEO Analyst (Digital Marketing) will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and best practices. The SEO Analyst is involved in keyword research, develops SEO tactics for both on- and off-page, and ensures the websites are easily available for both consumers and for search engines. This individual works closely with content team, collaborates with Paid Media team, and partners with Web developers/UI/UX to maximize site performance and functionality.


  • Monitor, analyze and report on SEO performance including crawl issues, backlink profile, keyword rankings, redirects and opportunities for competitive improvement
  • Perform keyword research to optimize existing content/metadata and uncover new opportunities or emerging trends
  • Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Conduct regular SEO audits and work with web developers to identify and resolve on-page, off-page and technical issues
  • Implement and manage search engine programs such as XML sitemaps, redirects, and robots.txt
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
  • Implement link building campaigns in coordination with client SEO goals
  • Demonstrate understanding of how duplicate content and page load speed affect SEO and advise on best practices
  • Serve as liaison across functional digital teams to optimize website, drive appropriate affiliate traffic, produce content, and tailor the experience for organic search and pay-per-click campaigns
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments


  • 2-4 years of relevant SEO and digital marketing experience
  • Experienced using SEO management software such as SEMRush, Moz, Conductor
  • Fundamental understanding of SEO best practices, indexing, crawling and ranking
  • Functional understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills
  • Familiar with content management systems such as WordPress, Sitecore
  • Up-to-date knowledge of organic search trends, including search engine algorithm changes, the latest tools and technologies
  • Proven success in link building and viral strategies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and analytics tools
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
  • An undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business required
  • Google Analytics/AdWords Certification a plus
